Inspired by classic photojournalism and the environment in which I grew up, I have my own new-school and introspective take on story telling.

 

 

I was born in 1989 in the Dolomites and raised between Venice, the mountains, India and the country side of Veneto.

​When was 5 years old I started traveling the world with my mother, a former hippie from Venice. Photography got into my life when I was 14, as a tool to remember things, to make memories.

​

I have an 'artisanal' approach to photography: after high school I have started a course at ICP, but soon I realized New York was not for me, and so was not for me that type of language in the photographic world. After some portfolio reviews I got in touch with Alex Majoli from MAGNUM PHOTOS and I attended a masterclass with him. I still consider that as my true start as a photographer and him as my master.
